Transferring your podcast from Buzzsprout to Ausha is a breeze! 🙌
Step 1: How to import my Podcast from Buzzsprout to Ausha
This step is about bringing over your podcast's entire history from your Buzzsprout RSS feed – episodes, titles, descriptions, audio files, and all.
Here's how:
Sign in to your Ausha account at www.ausha.co or log in if you already have one.
While creating your show, select "Import existing show."
Enter your current podcast's RSS feed (provided by Buzzsprout) in the "Name or RSS Link of the show to import" field.
Click "Continue" to confirm the import. Your episodes (those published publicly on Buzzsprout) will be immediately transferred to Ausha and integrated into your Ausha RSS feed. 🎉
Now, let's move on to step 2: setting up the redirection!
Step 2: How to Redirect the Buzzsprout RSS feed to my new Ausha RSS feed
Redirecting your RSS feed informs directories that your future episodes will be distributed via your new Ausha RSS feed.
To redirect:
Log in to your Buzzsprout account and follow the steps outlined in the Buzzsprout Help Center article Transfer away from Buzzsprout 👈 to set up the redirection to Ausha.
💡 You'll need your Ausha podcast RSS feed URL. To find it, refer to our article How to find my RSS feed on Ausha? 💜
Once you've successfully completed the transfer (including both import and redirection), you can then cancel your Buzzsprout account.
👉 Keep in mind that Buzzsprout cannot provide listening statistics from your old RSS feed. To retain this data, consider downloading, copying, or noting it before making the move to Ausha. ✍️
Lastly, note that this transfer is invisible for your audience, no matter the listening platform. You won't lose subscribers, and your listeners won't notice any difference between episodes posted from your old host and those from Ausha! 🚀
